It’s going to be a good morning – Turmeric Smoothie.
I am in LOVE this bright yellow smoothie these days. My friend, Katie, invited me to a neighborhood raw juice spot near the yoga studio that I work at last week. Without hesitation, I ordered my usual go to – a turmeric smoothie!
The color, balance and flavor of this smoothie is on point and I always wanted to make my own at home. I will be completely honest that I tried to recreate it several times at home just winging all ingredients that I could think of being in this smoothie, but the result was just an OKAY smoothie.
So the last time I was there with Katie, I carefully observed how much each ingredient goes in the blender.
The very next day, I went to a market to get some ingredients to test out if I remembered the recipe correctly. It took a few attempts to be similar to their turmeric smoothie but I can confidently say that the bright yellow smoothies came out soooo close to my liking!!!
Yesterday, I finally noted how much of ingredients are necessary to create oh-yummy-happy-tammy smoothie and I want to share this with you as I am drinking this smoothie everyday since and I cannot get over it!
