No borders, no limits.

Back in 2013, my boyfriend’s dad asked me
“So how are you going to travel and be a yoga teacher at the same time?”
(Can you be realistic here…?)
I always told everyone that I wanted to share what I found on my mat in the world. I wanted to be a traveling yoga teacher!
2017 is about to be done. It’s been 4 years since I became a yoga teacher.
First few years, everything was so difficult. I often found myself alone in my yoga classes. Especially in LA, I could not get a good studio jobs. I struggled a lot. I thought I wasn’t a good teacher. I must be doing something wrong!
I really thought hard for what I could be doing more to just get people in my class. I bothered my best friend to post flyers with me everywhere. I signed up for Meetup account to create an event page. I offered free beach classes.
Change slowly happened.
Few people started coming to my classes. In following weeks, I saw same faces! I felt the shift. I was so thankful. There was no cash coming in from yoga class, but it didn’t matter. I was so happy that people started creating a yoga class with me.
It’s been FOUR years since then.
When I look back, it’s been only 4 years. I am not jet setting every day or week to teach classes in different states or countries but I have travelled and taught yoga successfully. There is compensation for what I offer. But more than that, I meet so many amazing people that I can connect to through yoga. I am grateful for what I have. When you harvest your creations, you should enjoy them so much.
Don’t let anyone stop you from chasing your dream.
It WILL happen.
You just gotta make it happen.
